STANDARD QUANTITY
The quantity of PROSTAR to be used for cracking differs with the hole diameters and spacing. In Table 1, the relation between the quantity of PROSTAR used and the hole diameters is indicated for a hole of 1 meter in length, where PROSTAR was mixed at a water ratio of 30%.

5 kgs of PROSTAR is usually used in case 1m3 of virgin rock is demolished(8.4 lb/yd3)
For fragmentarion and reinforced concrete, an amount 2 to 4 times that is required.
USAGE VARIANCE
This varies with the the material of the objects to be cracked or the break plan. Refer to table-2 as a guide line.

£ª When an object with two or more free surface is demolished prefectly, the quantity of PROSTAR shown in the above Table is required.
£ª In case of demolition of boulders or bed rock, the required quantities of PROSTAR are 80%or 110% of indicated quantity in the above table, respectively .
£ª In case of demolishing an object which has only one free surface or partical demolition etc. to smallersized blocks, the required quantities of PROSTAR increase in comparison with those shown in the above table.
